- Description
- This is a view of the original Central School in St. Marys, as it looked in 1865. The school was built in 1857, after it became apparent that the town was outgrowing the schools already existing in St. Marys at the time. In 1914, this building was replaced with a new Central School on the same site. The new Central School is still standing today, however the building is now housing apartment suites.
