- This photo gives a view looking East towards North Ward from the Thames River. Water Street, Church Street and the London Bridge are visible. To the left of the image the steeples of both the First Presbyterian Church and the Catholic Church can be seen. To the far right, the Town Hall is visible.
The photograph was taken by well known Ontario photographer Charles Schriber Cochran, born 1854 in Paris, Ontario. He opened a studio in Hamilton, Ontario in 1886 and the studio went on to win awards and high recognition among the photograpy community.
