- Description
- This is a photograph of the St. Marys Museum taken during the month of December in 1996. Note the garland and red bows adorning the exterior of the museum for the holiday season. This photo was taken facing the museum building from Church Street South.
The St. Marys Museum was originally owned by the Tracy family. George Tracy, an early settler, built the home in 1854 and lived in the house with his family for several years. Several other local families lived in the house after the Tracys left. The building has been the home of the St. Marys Museum since 1959. The museum is located at 177 Church Street South. - Notes
