Group of Moose Hunters With Kill
Group of Moose Hunters With Kill Details

This picture is of group of recreational moose hunters and have taken some bull moose. This group is clearly recreation hunting. One clue its a group. Another is that they are all wearing white, camouflage for the snow on the ground. A subsistence hunter would probably not bother with such specialized clothing. Most important of all the moose are bulls. Recreational hunters usually focused on bull moose, since their antlers made a worthy trophy. Subsistence hunters would shoot moose: bulls, cows, or calf. It was unlikely a subsistence would run into just bull moose.
