This photo is pre 1909 as the hydro plant and penstock are not yet in place... The road bridge to Fetterly's has not yet been raised to facilitate the hydro penstock.
The smoke stacks of the South River Lumber Co. saw mill( destroyed by fire 1909) appear in the background just to left end of the G.T.R. coal shed....
