- This is a black and white photograph of the corner of a log house, located in the South River area. Visible to the left of the photo is the length of one wall of the home, with two windows in it. The right of the photo shows part of another side of the home, and the two sides meet in the middle of the photo. The home is built of squared logs, and where the log ends meet to form the corner they are hewed to form a tight juncture.
