- The Old Boarding House was located in South River Ontario at the corner of Ottawa and Broadway. It was built by the Holditch family as a private home, post office and a small store. When the railroad came through the area it became the Temperance Hotel. After this it became known as the Old Boarding House. The building was demolished in 1954.
