ee Q a HOCKEY NEWS : he ee O J Division Co-ordinators oh The co-ordinator for each division is as follows: Novice :~. .. George Hendley Atom Robert Clark Pee Wee Gerry O'Reilley Bantam Ear] Harrison ~~ Midget Don Patenaude Any of the above gentlemen may be contacted concerning your minor hockey queries. Vice-President - Alex Baillon, formerly our treasurer, has been appointed vice- president of the association by the Board of Directors. 7 Equipment Managers - each division should have an equipment manager and to date, we have not been very successful in recruiting assistance in this area. An equipment manager would ensure that the team sweaters, goalie equipment, etc., are available for practices and games (especially league games away from home). Having an equip- ment manager makes the coach's job much more tolerable. ~ If you can assist us either full-time or part-time in this capacity, please contact one of our division co-ordinators. Thank you. Ice Schedule - drawing up an ice schedule to accommodate 5 divisions per week, while maintaining sufficient ice time for our "house league" and the "competitive league", is not an easy task. Also, once the schedule is drawn up, it is subject to change because of special events at the various arenas e.g. Metcalfe, Winchester, Chesterville, Russell (carnivals, tournaments, storms, plant failures, etc.) By participating in a league with other towns, priority must. be given to the league whenever a game(s) has to be rescheduled either in.our arena or. that of another town. Therefore this.is the reason that our ice schedule is subject to change.
