Description
This model is a representation of schooners which sailed on the Great Lakes. Schooners have been in use for centuries having being first developed by the Dutch in the 16th or 17th century, and then being further refined in North America since the early 18th century. The model is currently on loan from Capt. John Leonard of Port Dalhousie.
