- A white and brown brown jacquard coverlet woven circa 1895 by F. Edward Graf. The pattern is birds of paradise lattice with a medallion border in reversed chevron 'goose-eye'. The warp (vertical threads) is white cotton, the weft (horizontal threads) is brown wool. The image shows the front and back of the coverlet and the intricate pattern is visible on both sides. There is no fringe. The cartouche in the bottom corners read "BIRDS OF/PARADISE".
