- This photograph depicts a group of seven men, gathered, around a sawmill. A large log is headed into the mill. The men are dressed in partial uniforms or work clothes. They are members of the No. 1 Canadian Forestry Corps (CFC) during World War II.
- Notes
- Men from the same area were generally stationed together in the same company and lumbermen were often put in the Forestry Corps. This group was stationed in Croy, Scotland, near Inverness.
