Description

This photograph shows a procession of twenty plus cars driving down a dirt road. There are houses and barns in the background. Near the front of the procession a group of six children has gathered in a field to watch the procession. Further down the road people walk alongside the procession.

Notes

This is the funeral procession of William "Willie" Clouthier in 1925 in Petawawa, ON. The procession is travelling down Doran Street, the main street of Petawawa Village at the time. On the left is the Behnke Farm and across the street are the first residential homes built in Petawawa. Clouthier drowned with Mr. Morris Clouthier.
