My father Peter Parsons worked with Gordon in the late 50's and early 60's at Chalk River. My father was responsible for taking soil samples to trace how radiation from the accident at Chalk River had moved through the ground water system around the plant at Chalk River. Gordon was assigned to guide my father as he knew the area well and was very comfortable working in the bush.
My father named me after Gordon Gunter when I was born in 1960 in Deep River Hospital.
