Black and white photo of the exterior of Schofield Woollen Co. on fire.
Notes
The factory, built in 1872, was at the end of Centre St. S. and was eventually demolished. It was first inhabited by a High Beaver Hats, then by Masson Manufacturing Company. In 1892 J. Schofield purchased the building and incorporated Schofield Woollen Co. This depicts one of several fires at the Schofield Woollen Mills prior to closing in 1951.
