- Notes
- John Aubrey Morphy was born on 24 Jan 1891 to Henry Edmund and Miriam Maria Morphy (nee Pellatt). Morphy enlisted in June 1915, and was a member of the 37th Battalion. In June 1917, when this photo was taken, he was serving with the 2nd Pioneer Battalion. In 1918, he transferred to the 5th battalion, Canadian Engineers and served until 1919.
