Description
Black-and-white photographs of the building of a McLaughlin-Buick limousine.
Notes
Based on the options (e.g. an open bar) included in the car and a note that came with the photos, this is the automobile built for Edward VIII, Prince of Wales, in honour of his visit to Canada in 1936. The vehicle was the one used during his trip to 10 Downing Street in London when he renounced the throne. In 2008, it came up for auction and sold for $185,000 pounds.
