- This undated Carte-de-Visite has the photographer's stamp , J. Hood, on the back. John Hood was born in Toronto in 1864 and came to London with his family a few years later. He was an active photographer in the London area from the 1880s until 1891 when he left permanently to settle in British Columbia. While in London he worked with his brother Thomas at 202 Dundas Street. This photograph was probably taken ca. 1886-1891.
The map shows the location of John Hood's business at 202 Dundas Street.
