- An interesting black and white portrait of a Mr. Cooper dressed for the outdoors with his fur hat and double breasted overcoat missing one button, produced by the photographic studio of John Cooper. The portrait captures the image of a robust man, sporting a dark chin curtain and dark curly hair.

- This is a print mounted on card of an undated cabinet card photograph from the studio of John Cooper.
John Cooper was in business as a photographer from 1857-1890. His business was located at 198 Dundas Street until 1875. He then moved to 440/442 Clarence Street. The map shows the 198 Dundas location. - Inscriptions
- On the front under the photograph faintly deciferable: Chromotype Patent Permanent Photograph (and) logo: J superimposed on F (and) John Cooper.
