- Description
- In this black and white glossy portrait we see a serious, almost sad expression on the face of a young woman in a dark dress. It appears that lines have been added to the photograph to highlight her tightly drawn back hair. She has a fringe of tight curls framing her face and her jewelry consists of a stick pin at her neck and drop earrings. Her wire rimmed glasses are an oval shape. A narrow white collar peeks over the edge of the black lace ornamentation on the bodice of her dress.
- Notes
- This photograph is card mounted. The bottom of the card has been cut off, making it hard to read the photographer's imprint. It may read Snyder. The address cannot be read clearly but has been guessed at.
The sides of the card have also been roughly cut and are not even but the size and date suggest that it is a cabinet card format.
