- A card mounted black and white photograph of a woman sitting on a park bench looking towards the photographer. The card is gilt edged. The background foliage includes palm trees. There may be two people in the right background strolling along the curved pathway next to the raised garden island.
- Notes
- This photograph was sent as a Christmas card from California. The inscription on the back of the card seems to indicate that the woman in the photograph is M.H. Baxter. The 1917 London City Directory lists a Marion H. Baxter who was Vice Librarian at the Public Library.
There is a handwritten inscription beneath the photograph as well as a handwritten inscription on the back. - Inscriptions
