- Description
- A card mounted glossy, sepia toned photograph of a picturesque Thames River scene near Komoka. In the middle foreground a man rows a boat close to the shore where a small freshet cascades down the steep wooded embankment into the river. To the right on the narrow shoreline are possibly two people. The first figure may be a woman in a long dress or a native person (?). The second figure appears to be a man in a dark jacket and pants. On the left side of the photograph is a much eroded area on the bank next to a tall dead tree.
- Notes
- The inscription which is handwritten in pencil appears on the back of the card mounted photograph, as does J.HOOD which is stamped in ink. See also the picture titled: "John (?) and Frank Hood shooting in the woods near London, Ontario", another J. Hood photograph.
