- Description
- The Old Fire Hall is featured in the right foreground of this black and white photograph showing the streetscape on the north side of King Street between Clarence and Richmond. Several men pose in front of the fire hall beside a wagon that looks to be carrying either fire hose or perhaps a water reservoir. Nearby, in front of "Bennet & Mills" Undertakers, another vehicle that would be horse-drawn, appears to be a hearse. The next building is G. Moorhead's Furniture Factory and further down the block at the corner of Richmond is the Revere House Hotel. In the background, the Covent Garden Market House can be seen with its tower. In the left foreground, a buggy is parked on the roadside.
