- Description
- A glossy black and white print of Victoria Hall. Above the doors and windows on the bottom left of the building is a sign "BIBLE AND TRACT DEPOT". The signs in the lower windows on the right hand side say "PRINTING OFFICE". The words "VICTORIA HALL" appear above the doorway in the centre. Several people are standing in front of the building.
- Notes
- The inscription, not seen on the digital copy, was added to the original photograph in 1939.
This building was originally the London New Connexion Methodist Church. The Y.M.C.A. purchased the building in 1878, renovated it and renamed it Victoria Hall. They occupied it until 1893 when it was sold to the Salvation Army.

This building housed the congregation of the London New Connexion Methodist Church from some time prior to 1856 down to the Methodist Union of 1875, when the congregation sold it and erected a new building on Wellington Street, known as the Wellington Street Methodist Church.
