Notes

The inscription, not seen on the digital copy, was added to the original photograph in 1939.
The Bishop's Palace was the residence of the Roman Catholic bishops of London from 1870 to 1914. In 1914 the mansion at 90 Central Avenue, "Blackfriars" was donated to the diocese of London and used as the new residence. The Bishop's Palace was then renamed St. Peter's Rectory.

Inscriptions

[St. Peter's Roman Catholic Cathedral, Richmond St., north-east corner of Dufferin Ave. Building of the cathedral was begun on July 1, 1880, and it was dedicated on June 28, 1885. The first church was erected on the opposite corner in 1833, being a log building. About 1890.]
