- A glossy black and white print of the yard at the Atlantic Petroleum Works. There are several workers in the yard and barrels piled up on the ground. Some of the workers are pushing barrels on a ramp extending across the site and loading them into boxcars. The buildings of the Petroleum Works are in the background.

- The inscription at the bottom of the photograph was added in 1939. PG L11
- Inscriptions
- The Atlantic Petroleum Works, Hamilton Road, about 1875. This refinery was established in 1866 by Herman and Isaac Waterman, when the oil business was at its height in London. The works covered four acres of ground.
