- Thank you letter addressed to Victor Short for receipt of a copy of his book "Golden Grains and Silver Nuggets". Letter is on University of Notre Dame, Indiana letterhead and signed by Dr. Francis D. Lazenby. Dated January 21, 1965.
- Includes hand-written note to Elizabeth Spicer ("Miss Spicer") on the backside of the letter, detailing his experience writing letters and sending copies of his books to hundreds of people and institutions.
