Colonel Thomas Talbot (1771-1853) — Death & burial
b. 19 July 1771 in Malahide, Republic of Ireland
d. 5 February 1853 in London, Upper Canada
buried in graveyard at Old St. Peter's Church at
Tyrconnell on the shore of Lake Erie (Dunwich Twp.,
Elgin Co.). There is a huge, plain slab describing
Talbot as the "Founder of the Talbot Settlement."
