In 1954, when the school was called Argyle PS, Miss Barons was a wonderful lady who was my grade 2 teacher. In 1925,at the same school, she had also been my father's grade 2 teacher.
A well deserved honor re-naming the school after her and, after the school demolition, the remaining public park now bears her name.
