Stringer, Arthur John Arbuthnott,(l874—1950)

b. in Chatham, Ont., moved to London, when 10 years

old. Friend of Bliss Carmen, and C.G.D. Roberts.

In 1905 wrote "Lonely O'Malley," a story of Ontario

boy's life. Many of his tales were written in the

environs of Shadow Lawn on Lake Erie.

"Arthur Stringer uses London as a setting for story."
