- Notes
- The Middlesex County Court House, known as the London District Court House prior to 1850, originally designed by John Ewart in 1827, was completed in December 1829. This photograph was taken prior to the extensive alterations that were made in 1878. A new courthouse was opened on December 3rd, 1974 by Premier William Davis and this building became redundant. It is now the Middlesex County Building at 399 Ridout Street North and houses the County's administrative offices.
A guess has been made that this photograph was taken ca. 1870. - Inscriptions
