- Description
- This glossy print of the streetscape on Dundas Street just east of Talbot Street gives a good view of the buildings lining the street, especially on the north side.
- Notes
- It's believed that the business on the southeast corner, where the letters R.S.M can be seen, is R.S. Murray's dry goods business. The 1863-64 London City Directory has a listing for R.S. Murray, a dry goods merchant with a business at the corner of Dundas and Talbot Streets. The name D Macfie can be seen on the end of the veranda on the building in the left foreground, which is on the northeast corner. The 1863-64 London City Directory lists Daniel Macfie as a dry goods merchant with a business at the corner of Dundas and Talbot.
