- Mrs. Ivy "Ma" Butler operated a rooming house in this building on the southwest corner of Queens Avenue and Clarence Street for many years. Two well known people who roomed at Ma Butler's were Walt Disney and the Honourable W. G. Webster, one time provincial Cabinet member and liquor commissioner for Ontario. Owned by Sidney Kingsmill of Boston, the building was acquired by Cities Heating Company about 1951 and sold to City Gas Company of London in 1956. The building was demolished in 1957. Ma Butler died January 12, 1961 at age 88.
