"The Ontario Photographers List (1851-1900)" by Glen C. Phillips lists photographers Albert & James A. Mann, 1866; James A. Mann, 1867-1888; James A. Mann & Son, 1880-1884.
In the early 1870s his studio was located on the south side of Dundas Street just west of Market Lane. The approximate location is marked on the map. - Inscriptions
