British & Colonial Press Ltd. is listed as a commercial photographer in Toronto from 1917-1925 in the book "The Ontario Photographers List Volume II (1901-1925)" by Glen C. Phillips. Alex C. Batten is listed as managing director 1917-1921 and as president 1922-1925.
A guess has been made that this undated photograph may have been taken ca. 1917-1925. Since the exact location is unknown, the general location for London is shown on the map.
