A black and white full length portrait of Mary Jane Kennedy, as a young girl, standing beside a peony bush.
Notes
Mary Jane Kennedy, the great granddaughter of Murray Anderson, the city's first mayor in 1855, presented flowers to Queen Elizabeth during the royal visit to London, June 7, 1939.

The map shows the location of the C.N.R. Station where Mary Jane presented the flowers to the queen.

The photographer's stamp is on the back of the photograph.

There are handwritten inscriptions, in pencil, on the front and back. PG E242
