When I first saw the wagon(parts of the wagon) it was badly deteriorated and only the front axle and the shaft at the front where still attached with some wood and iron wheels. It was laying in Bartlett Creek, covered in mud beside the Scout Hut on Maple St. Approximately about 1950. I can't tell you about who is in the picture, but in 1949/51 Doug Burton was a leader along with Bob Clark, and Mr. Maitland. I believe this picture predates that as the scout hut built by the Lions of Beamsville came around 1945 and does not show in the picture. The caisson was (I am told used in parades and on Apple/tag days uptown). If this picture was taken on Maple St. at now Bomberry Park, there should be some evidence of the outside Hockey Rink that Jim Allen and Ray Burton use to flood at night as the troop in the picture seem to be standing in that triangular piece of land were the Scout Hut is. There should be some others in town that can add to this.
