- Description
- Baskets are stacked up on the platform as a train nears the station.
- Notes
- Farmers would ship their fruit to markets in Hamilton and Toronto by rail. For a while, a dock on Jordan Harbour offered an alternative shipping method.
In William F. Rannie's book "Lincoln: The story of an Ontario town", the date 1910 is given for the building of the station in Vineland. However, a note accompanying the photograph, gives the date as August 1897. - Inscriptions
