- Three female switchboard operators turn from their boards and look at the camera.
- Notes
- Operators are, from left, Elsie Barns, Lena (Book) Allan, abd Blanche Huntsman. This particular building was located on the south-east corner of King St. and Mountain Rd. It was later moved to the north-east corner of King St. and Ontario St. By 1945, Blanche Huntsman had become the head operator. This photo was probably taken about 1935.
