They would like to commend the students 6 teachers in the “putting together" and delivery of the programme. The Nov llth memorial day parade started at the Lyndhurst school at 10.45, led by the colour guard. There were approximately 50 people on parade. Rev. David Bugler officâ€" iated at the 11 a.m. service. Mrs Ward, Mrs Stevens and Mrs Chapman laid the wreaths. We would like to thank Ron Morris for the excellent job on the drums.’ Six WW I Veterans gathered in the hall for lunch and talk: Fred Stevens Frank Chisholm, Geo Harrington, Sid Talbot, Carl Williamson, and Henry Judge. One more member was initiated, bringing total membership to 65. Three Fraternal members have been recommended for Honorary membership by the executive, Dave Trick, Arnold Summers & Brian Tye. The Sing-Song G Dance on the evening of Nov 11th, raised $52.00 towards the sunporch for the senior citizens. A donation of $100.00 was approved and sent to the chairman of the Lyndhurst Santa Claus parade. A 26†colour T.V. has been approved for the lounge, and will have been installed by press time. Ruth and Betty gave a report on the bread baking workshop held at Athens. It was moved by Vienna Kelsey and seconded by Hazel Gilfillen to exchange gifts at our December meeting. Velma Kelsey moved the meeting be adjourned and this was seconded by Ethel Tye. A lovely lunch was served by Viola McMaâ€" chen and Elsie Mainse.
