The following Education Canada Exchange students were ‘ welcomed at Rideau this morning. They are Oral Robert from Notre Dame, Newfoundland; Colette Tetrea from Vegreville and Charlene Kendall from Victoria, B.C. These students will be with us until December 14th. The students of Rideau District High School will begin their X-mas vacation on December 23, 1978 and will return to classes on January 3, 1979. - . ACTIVITIES - DECEMBER The Student Council will be holding a semiâ€"formal X-mas Dance on December 16th. On December 9th there will be a Junior Boys Invitational Basketball Tournament at V Rideau. B.C.I., Brockville; Bayridge, Kingston and Smiths Falls District Collegiate, Smiths Falls have been invited to participate. The Treasurer's report showed a balance of $12,993.38.Bills totalling $2,122.46 wet; circulâ€" ated for Trustee's approval. The Board will look into prices on a copying machine to facilitate Union Library and Board business. The Library‘s logo stamp has arrived at Union headquarters,and two more will be ordered for Secretarial and Publicity uses.
