ELGIN 8: DISTRICT COâ€"OPERATIVE NURSERY SCHOOL Social days were held for the children of the Elgin Nursery School during the months of October and November. The first field trip for the senior students was a trip to the nature trail at Chaffey's Lock. The children had an enjoyable afternoon looking at all the beautiful colours that autumn provides. The Hallowe'en Party was perhaps one of the more exciting events. Their costume party included such characters as Sylvester the cat, Scare-crow and of course, characters from the outer most part of space. All the children shared in the fun and games and Hallowe'en treats. A visit to the Hershey Chocolate Factory provided an exciting tour and the children were delighted to recieve free samples of chocolate products. at the end of the day. The Nursery School is also endeavouring to raise funds through the sale of tickets for their Lip-coming draw on Dec. 16th. Your purchase of a ticket will be appreciated and also could win you one of three prizes.
