FLIPPIN' AND SLIPPIN' OVER WINTER FUN!
It was a busy weekend for all those winter enthusiasts out there, with both the Stonecliffe Winter Carnival and the Deep River Silver Spoon taking place this past weekend. Both events were enjoyed by participants of all ages as is demonstrated by photo right. Kristy Ducharme, age 2 1/2 is shown flipping a pancake with a great deal of determination at the Winter Carnival.
Silver Spoon contestants (below) arrived at the starting line wearing a variety of fashion statements. This look, on Tony Hinds (left) and Garry Stewart (right,) is the casual and warm approach. Hinds raced in his 23rd Silver Spoon this past weekend, the only person to ski in every Silver Spoon to date.
