I was a CPR telegrapher/train order operator and worked the night shift in Aylen station in the winter, about 1955/56.

It is at the top of the hill, east of Deux Rivieres. I recall the wolf tracks in the snow on the station platform at first light. Clearly they were out there in the night watching me through the window. I had to get in and out by freight train. This was one of many interesting adventures I enjoyed back then. ... JP
