- Description
- Otis Tamasauskas and Jane Garland moved from Toronto into the former Commercial Hotel in Priceville in May 1982. Otis, a master printer and print maker, and Jane , a sculptor and printer, renovated the building so that the studio space was on the main floor and living quarters on the second floor. Their three children Rhya, Kaurel and Kazys grew up in Priceville. Otis, an avid fly fisherman, was particularly drawn to the Artemesia geography and spent endless hours roaming the watershed of the Saugeen River. His prints are full of images of what he sensed there. Otis and Jane lived and worked at this location until 1999.
