- The Lachlan Macarthur farm was located on North Durham Road, Lots 7, the west half of Lot 8, Lot 10 (purchased from the Scott family) and Lot 7 South Durham Road (purchased from the McCabes). The barn was considered the largest in the County and was where the MacArthurs kept a herd of Angus cows and Clydesdale work horses.
