The very appear^nca of our large elevators give a favorable im- pression to strangers coming in, many of which remark, "this must be a good country or they would not require such large store- houses," and on leaving "wo seldom strike a place of the size which does the amount of bus'iiess." The two new elevators are now in full blast, which together with the sleigh- ing the past few days has made quite a stir.
