CHARD ATKINSON A profusion of summer flowers and ferns in front of the mantle, furnished a lovely setting in the living room of Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Weber, Kimberley, when Edythe Atkinson, daughter of Mrs. C. At- kinson, became the bride of Kendall Lloyd, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Ohard of Kimberley, on Sat- urday at 2 o'clock. The ceremony, conducted by Rev. L. E. West, was witnessed by members of the immed- iate families. The bride, gowned in a street- length dress of pink moire with a white hat and corsage of Killarney roses, was attended by her sister, Miss Dorothy Atkinson, in pale blue taffeta with white hat and corsage of Briar Cliffe roses. Russell Ohard. brother of the groom, was bestman. The bride's table was beautifully decorated with a three-tier wedding cake, surrounded by wthite and pink roses and pink candles in silver holders. The groom's gift to the bride was a dainty wrist watch and to the groomsman a Parker pen. The bride presented her bridesmaid with a string of pearls. The young couple left on their honeymoon by motor to Northern Ontario, the bride travelling in a grey two-piece dress and grey shorty coat with white accessories. VICTORIA CORNERS Mrs. Ed.
