Nichol, son of Mrs. Ohristena Nichol and the late David Nichoi, in his Mth year. William, 'had just recovered from lihe 'flu, was up and around and had finished his evening chores and retired for the night, when not feeling well. He suffered a sti'oke and passed away early Monday morning, ed away arely Monday morning. Deceased was of a quiet disposi- tion and was held in the highes: esteejn hy all who linew him. Hj.; was a good friend of everyone an a very obliging neighbor. He was a member of St. J^ndrew's Presby- terian Ghiii-ch and \\'ns on the Board of Manasrerf. The late Mr. Nichol wsa born on the farm on w-hich he died, west if Priceville and had been in the truck- ing business for a few years and ( made jnany friends. He has sin:-" been farming. Left to nioui'n his passing are hi~ mother and two sisters, Marffaii't. at home, and Mlabel, Mrs, John Cook. of Fesherton. The funei^ is taking place this Wednesday, .April 27th, with service in St. -Andrew's Presibyterian church at 2 o'clock p.m., interment to be- made in McNeil's Cemetery. C. P. MacDougal was master of ceremonies and his fund of jokes and stories was bottomless, much to the enjoyment of all present. Three hockey players, Roy Best, Jack Law- rence and Bruce Thurston were ab- sent from the gathering. Short speeches were delivered by H. .A McCauey, president of the Service Club, Reg.
