Mr. and Mrs. Laurie Pedlar visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. F. Rob- inson at Dundalk. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar McKee and Barbara of Hamilton and Mr. and Mrs. John McKee of Flesherton vis- ited with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Jackson. Lorraine and Eleanor Shier are attending high school from our school this year. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Meldrum and Donald spent a day at Wasaga Beach with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mel- drum of Toronto. D. A. Fisher, Del- bert and Chester Plaritt also called on the Meldrums at the cottage. The Mission Circle of Rock Mills church met at the home of Mrs. Ear! Croft la>t Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Luther Love visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Lundy Jehnston at Vandeleur. Con- siderable business was transacted and the roll call was answered by a preservir^ hint. Mrs. J. A. Nichol had charge of the program aad gave two interesting readings, while Mrs .A. L. Hincka read the Scripture and also conducted a contest, the prizes C"! which were won by Mrs. B. Irwin and M. Nichel, and in group two by Mrs. .\. MacCuaig and Kathleen Mc- Lean. Mrs. D. L. MacArthur pre- sided over the W_M.S. meeting and Mrs. Thos. Nichol read the Scrip- ture, and after the business jjeriod Mrs. .A.. L. Hincks gave the topic "Fading Leaves." Henry Tucker, Mrs. J. .â- \. Nichol, Mr. and Mrs. Chas Tucker. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dixon and Mr. and Mi-s. T. Tucker attended the funeral of the late Dr. Robert Tucker at Paisley last week. Mr. Emerson Meads returned to Guelph Monday for his second year at the Veterinary College. Hi father accompanied him down. Mr. Wm. Currie, who has been at Highland Lodge nursing home for the past year and a half, fell and broke his hip on Monday and passed away Wednesday morning of last week, in his S6th year. He leaves to mourn, one sister, Mrs. M. Strong, of Vancouver. B.C. .\ service was held at the home of Mrs. Koertz on Thursday evening, when Mr. Grant Muir had charge of the service and gave a comforting message. Inter- ment was made Friday at MansfieU' Presbyterian Cemetery. The Y.P.S. was held Wednesday night in St. Andrew's church, with a good attendance. Mr. Grant Muir gave a very fine address on his trip and the work in his ministry at Barr River and Sowerby. where he spent the past four months, and where h met some old Pricevillertes. Mr. Willis Sayers gave a very interes ing talk on his trip by motor to th. coast, coming home by plane. It was a very descriptive and interes* ing talk. Willis has returned to To lonto University. Misses Betty Tucker and Emma Meads of Toronto spent the wee' end at their parental homes. Mr. and. Mrs. Bill Hill and Sand;, and Mrs. Belle McLean of Fergu.' visited recently at the home of Mr. Lachie McKinnon. Mrs. McLean remained for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Sayers ami family of Guelph spent a few days with his parents. Mrs. Marj- McLachlan held an auction sale on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. McLachlan and family of Orillia were present at the sale and visited friends. One (Af our Priceville boys occupied the pulpit in St. .\ndrew's Church on Sunday, in the person of Mr. Grant Muir, when a good congrega- tion was present. The Rally Day program was followed by Mr. Muir's address, which was vei-y tine. The Priceville people are very proud of Grant. Mrs. Sims rendered a lovely solo "The Ninety and Nine," accom- panied by Miss Margaret Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Bowemian of Mani- toulin Island. Mr. and Mrs. Hai-vey Dusbury and two sons ol Toronto were week end visitors with Mrs. Wright and Mr. and Mrs. Howatxi Du.tbury. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McKinnon of Hopeville were visitors last week at the home of .\. L. Hincks. Miss Mary Muir returned to To- ronto on Sunday, after spending some time with her brother, Mr. .\llie Muir. Messrs. Willis and Grant Sayers enjoyed a few days last week vis ing through the States.
