The mem- bers were not satisfied with the prog- ress beinjr made in health services in this province and favored a National Health plan. They felt that this com- munity was fairly well sei-ved by Doctors, Nurses and Hospital, Den- tists etc., but was because we were in a posperous district. Their ser- vices are paid for and much apprec- iated, but there was no plan in con- nection with it and people in leas fortunate districts were also entitled to Health Services. The Forum felt that various schemes now in exist- ence were doin^ good work but in vital matters like heatlh, a larger plan and active leadership wag need- ed, and as in the Wai-ble Ply camp- aign, some compulsion was necessary Two diacussion groups were formed with Aler. Gih-ay and Vernon Faw- cett as chairmen and MSss Wakefield and Howard Graham as Secretarys. Mr. and Mrs. Fawcett gave an inter- esting account of their trip to B. C. and showed many pictures of the Rocky Mountains and other places. There wag a Health Quiz and some stimts. Lunch was served and Alex. Cii'ray presided.
